Dear Campus School Families,

At Monday’s PTO meeting (6:30pm, in the library) the main discussion topic will be our new learning goals. I will be joined by Graeham Dodd, our new Director of Curriculum Design and Innovation, and Marlene Musante to review these goals and discuss why they are important, how they will help prepare students for success now and in the future, and how they reflect best practices in elementary school teaching and learning. The goals themselves can be broken down into two categories: character traits and specific skills. These designations are true to the development of children – they both acquire practical, relevant, and meaningful skills and develop traits that will serve them well as students and people, both now and in the long term. The new learning goals are on our new website for your reference, and we hope you can join us on Monday for this important discussion.

Warmly,

Chris
