Dear Campus School Families,
I urge all parents to attend next week’s talk by Michael Thompson. I have seen him speak a number of times and he always offers practical and wise advice to parents. He bring deep experience with children, parents, families, and schools to his work, and he is one of the most renowned psychologists in this field today.
His talk will focus on the psychological journey students take during their K-6 years and how this journey is impacted by the culture we live in and stances we take as parents and teachers. While Dr. Thompson does not shy away from the very real challenges of parenting in the 21st century, he will also offer practical and sage advice about how to make your child’s journey a healthy one. Time for questions and answers will be built into his talk.
We hope to see you at the Campus School gymnasium on April 9th at 7:00pm for Dr. Thompson’s talk. I am confident you will find it enlightening, helpful, and hopeful.
